San Francisco, the avenues, mostly foggy, occasionally sunny, long rides to anywhere. Sometimes its just a song or a mood, a time, a memory of a place, it doesn't make you think so much as feel. It's the sound, and the poetry, the lyrics, and the words, capture that time, captured by that place, captured by a mood.
The time, Piano and Cello, REVERB why not, of course guitars and something else. Get to work on time, someone will cover that shift, come home, write, no ones home, should I stay here OR at her house and a song is
written. Reverb FOG burns off by mid afternoon only to return deliberately by monday. Its not about the beach nor the street. Its about
the time spent and reflected, arranged and performed with honesty, in one take, spilled and captured by magnets distributed by numbers . More should be done in this fashion. All we have left is the record, we have all moved, we have all moved on. NOW we access the weightless numbers, the Extended Play,the EP and live there from where ever we choose.

It was the mid-nineties when four boys from Virginia, Greg Turner, Mathew Slavnik, Josh and Dennis Bevelacqua busted out of the attic high atop the Bevelacqua familiy garage, venturing west to California. Who knew then what mischeif would be made once they met up with elton, Andy, 16-tracks of analog tape and the rest of Rodent Records? Dying Echo's debut release from those early days was originally limited to just 100 cassette tapes, leaving it largely unknown. Due to the magic of digital technology, however, those lost treasures have been rediscovered, making their way to our current catalog.
