Chantigs

Up With CHANTIGS is a must have for the serious collector. An instant desert island disc. The opening drum track of Raquel (hey) pulls you in and 10 songs/40 minutes later you hit repeat and smile knowing youÕll be spending lots of time together. As you get to know each other better you find yourself sticking your head between two speakers to see if there really is a rusted jalopy track buried somewhere deep inside Coldy o Coldy . Later, on to more important questions, like the mystery of Punchin up a Photo from Tokyo; was it a Theramax plugged into old marshall amplifier or was it Motorola GP350 two way radios routed through Leslie cabinet that was creating the ghostly high pitched vocal that seems to swim in and out between choruses? You wonder how you fit a smallstone into a space echo.
